Dal 2021, 21Shares misura le proprie emissioni di carbonio per tutte le operazioni commerciali, i viaggi, l'uso degli uffici, le transazioni in criptovaluta sulla blockchain e i componenti a monte. Sulla base della nostra impronta di carbonio, finanziamo progetti di protezione climatica per assumerci la responsabilità dei nostri prodotti e delle nostre funzioni aziendali.
I nostri contributi supportano progetti di protezione climatica che includono la produzione di energia più pulita e gli sforzi di riforestazione, tutti progettati per proteggere il nostro pianeta per le generazioni future.

Carbon Calculations
We assess the company’s entire transaction history in order to calculate the carbon emissions from our products. This record includes every type of transaction. Once we have determined our carbon footprint, we calculate the carbon permits we need in order to offset our emissions. Our accredited partner myclimate validates our data and uses high-quality carbon permits to offset our emissions. These carbon offsets support projects that adhere to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDG) standards. We continue to offset our transactions every year.
Minimize Our Footprint
We assess the carbon emissions that stem from our business operations. Once we collect enough data, our partner myclimate calculates and implements effective ways to minimize our carbon footprint.
Sustainably Neutral
We remain carbon neutral by monitoring and reporting our progress. When we build new products, we include them in our calculations and our carbon offsetting program.
Methods
In base alla nostra impronta di carbonio, finanziamo progetti di protezione del clima per assumerci la responsabilità dei nostri prodotti e delle nostre funzioni aziendali. I nostri contributi supportano progetti globali di protezione del clima che includono una produzione di energia più pulita, iniziative di riforestazione e accesso all'acqua potabile. Questi progetti sono progettati per proteggere il nostro pianeta per le generazioni future e aderiscono agli Obiettivi di Sviluppo Sostenibile delle Nazioni Unite (SDG ONU).
Tra gli altri, il nostro contributo annuale sostiene progetti come "Acqua potabile per le scuole in Uganda" e "Piccoli agricoltori riforestano le foreste in Uganda''.
Climate Projects
Based on our carbon footprint, we finance climate protection projects to take responsibility for our products and business functions. Our contributions support global climate protection projects that include cleaner power generation, reforestation efforts and access to clean water. These projects are designed to protect our planet for future generations and adhere to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UN SDG). Among others, our yearly contribution benefits projects like Clean Drinking Water for Schools in Uganda and Small-Scale Farmers Reforest Forests in Uganda.
