Pyth is expanding beyond DeFi into institutional markets with Pyth Pro, a subscription service that gives banks, hedge funds, and trading firms access to real-time, cross-asset data at a fraction of the cost of legacy vendors. In 2025, the US Department of Commerce selected Pyth to publish federal economic data onchain, the first time a US agency has committed to distributing official statistics through a decentralized oracle.
